So a guy who runs at the track ritually versus a 3rd pass ever? Mannn. Just think if I went to the track more than him! Hammer woulda been a close run with me from a roll with me going out a little up top. 91 octane/3mods vs bolt ons, ins, race gas, WR, LS1. Sounds about right.

That was only my 3rd pass in his car.

Hammer woulda drug you however you wanted to run. My guess is notch's car woulda walked you up top. I was shifting sssslllloooowwww on those runs just to make it through the gears.

Just like the S197 and S550s. Its damn embarrassing that almost 20 years later and the new 5.0 car is also step behind ol' LS1 car, in terms of straight line performance.

So was it embarrassing for the Fif Gen to be a step behind the 4th Gen?

Now that is funny. I don't know of any s197 auto cars running as slow as 13.4@104 with a catback, lid, and tune like I saw at the track the same day I ran my 12.2@114 a year ago.

I'd probably have buyer's remorse after unloading a sweet car like a C5Z for a 5G as well. Step backwards in performance.

No remorse here. C5Z was a lot of fun but it was time to switch it up.

Back in 2014, when I bought the 1LE. There was no better COMPLETE package for under 40K NEW (acceleration, handling, looks, modability, potential, performance per dollar).

That's the sad part about the mustang.....literally the only way it could compete with the 5gen is in a straight line. It flat gets it's *** stomped in all other performance aspects. Even the s550 does vs a 5gen. The 6gen is just a complete ko to the entire mustang line except the gt350r of which its competitive with for $20k+ less.

Do either Zyborg or Hio have any sweet vids of themselves on a circuit track with their well handling beasts?

Havent done any circuits, but I sure as hell get pleasure driving my car on a daily basis (with the occasional country back road).

I like my cars, like I like my *****. I enjoy that TIGHT go-kart feel this thing offers.

I enjoy driving my car on a daily basis as well. That is why it is a 2013 and has 62k on it.

I drove 5Gs too and wasn't overly impressed. Maybe the 1le is just that much better.

The feel of a 1LE is totally different, than a standard 5G camaro. I couldnt believe the difference myself. There is a reason, this car is able to beat out the Boss LS and new s550 PP GT around a circuit.

It you were in my town, Id let you drive this turd, so you could see for yourself.

Not on track....nit sure how that even matters. Some if my track time with my car came even before i had a cell phone and I've never had a vid cam. You young ******* are jyst to ******* stupid to think something like tgat could happen.

I do have a short yt vid of me beating on it on a back road a little. I didn't go to hard because my alignment wasn't quite where i wanted it.

To put in perspective. ....a regular 5gen would likely out handle your car. A fe4 5gen would no doubt beat a 5br0 track pak and a 1le > boss.

My bet is a fe4 (2012 and newer 5gen) is probably about on par with a boss.

I agree, the L99 was just such a turd in comparison on the test drives so I bought my first Ford vehicle.

I know it is hard to accept that your newer car, is actually the inferior, overall performing product. #troofbombs #hurtfeels #shouldhavegottenbettercar #s550disappoint
