2015 6 sp 5.0 vs 2016 auto ss
one of my friends rented a 2016 ss auto due to his 5.0 being service at the dealer .
first 3 runs he had a passenger we did a 30 , 40 , and a 60 best run was the 40 to 140 where i started to creep in at the end once we swapped the passengers i lost all 3 runs incredible what 160 lbs extra weight do . really impressed with how the 8 sp auto ss performs it takes a full bolt on heavier 5.0 to keep up with an auto ss .towards the end of the 4th runs my clutch was acting up ford really put a crappy clutch on these cars , already have a spec stage 2 ready for replacement.

i was curious so i checked dyno runs on the new ss the majority of them are putting from 420 to 433 rwhp stock so it seems gm underrated the hp on the ss .

That is not GM. The SAE numbers they release are from when they test the motor in the worst of conditions. Hot, Humid, low air density, all of the worst conditions you can think of.

yeah last 2 runs clutch felt weak it wasn't grabbing as good i even missed 4th and 5th in some other runs , looked like his stronger rolls were a 40 and a 60 the car really moved out good on those rolls , for me my best rolls are a 30 and a 45 . really really impressed with the auto ss .

And I been trying to tell everyone they don't suck from rolls. Only at very high speeds with an amazing driver does the m6 have a chance.shift too fast. Too much gearing advantage.
Looks like it ran good for a rental lol

It's all speculation but I think they can hit 10s FBO e85 stock converter in good DA full weight with a drag pack. Converter it's guaranteed IMO.
My next step is probably full exhaust and e85. Was just gonna do cat deletes but hooker dropped pricing longtubes are now 899.
Hoping for 11.2 to 11.4 @ 120+ next fall. It should happen with a ~50 hp bump from the exhaust and e85.
Yep. I'm wondering if ford can even the odds next year good times
