The 555R is no doubt classified by Shitto as a Drag Radial but certain DRs have softer compounds that grab much better than others. The compound used on the 555R is much harder which allows it to to have greater longevity for street driving but at the same time, will not allow it to grab as well on the track as compared to an ET Street or NT05R

I didn't say ALL DR's are this street friendly. I've had these tires on 2 different cars and ive driven them in some shitty ****** weather with zero issues. Its a wonder how some of you leadtarded ***** even tie your shoes in the morning.

I’ve had good results with 275/50/15 Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S and the Mickey Thompson 275/60/15 Pro Radial.
Et Street ss went 1.47 on my auto camaro with 100% oem suspension other than the front swaybar being removed.
The 275 Pro has been 1.43 with the exact same setup and car.
