But I think this tells the story of why the car did a 1.577 60ft on the stock converter. Almost 450rwtq at 2,700 where the converter flashes.

Mods to date:

Pray ported IM/TB, Rotofab CAI, EFI Tuning E85 flex fuel kit, Pray/EFI Tuning Tune.

Next mods will be 3" dual cut outs pre AFM valves and 2" headers with cats.
Torque is a beautiful thing.

Very nice job Pray.

Thank you. Super easy combo to duplicate. My car also started out really low so a normal car will be much higher than mine with the same mods. The gains will translate over.

Wonder why that is?
And there is not much to that car, should not be too hard to duplicate. With a good tuner that is

I am pretty sure the issue is in the rear. Could be trans and rear. It was my first brand new car so I broke in the motor like I would any other I have built. What I didn't take into consideration was that the trans and rear were also brand new. I would never break a trans and rear in the way I did the motor. The rear groans and clicks and pops and what not now. One of the wheels stopped turning the other day at the track as well. I also put an almost identical car on the other day and in 5th I was up a little on TQ and really close on hp. In 6th I was down on tq and down 15rwhp. That tells me that as speed increases as load that what ever is scrubbing my power is getting worse as well. I had the dealership change the trans and rear fluid on my own dime at 1,500 miles. Guess it wasn't enough. My car modded barely puts down more than tuned cars on the same dyno. It will be going back to the dealership soon. I am going to do a leak down and compression test in a week or so to check the motor.

To make the same power your IM/TB porting has to be spot on. I have done quite a few of these now and know what works and what doesnt. Tuning has to be there as well. To run the same times is going to take a ton of tuning. ECM/TCM. I have run dead even with cars that should have wiped the for with me. It is all in the tune. This car has about 100 dyno passes on it and at least 60 drag passes on it. Almost every run and pass is an experiment.

**** that's more power than a coyote makes. Coyote would have to pick up 80tq just to match it.

This was my first new car. It was a 38th B-day gift to myself. I think I have bought the wife 10 now. LOL. It was really just an investment into this platform. I am going to have to sell a ton of ported items and do alot of tuning to pay for it. I probably should have thought it through a little more.

LOL. I love your responses man. In all seriousness, what 5.0 has gone faster with the same mods. The 10.95 one had a converter and weight reduction and was down 3mph. The 10.46 one is a gutted race car that is 200 lbs lighter.

The new camaro is making good power. A CJ 5.0 will make similar peak if not more but carry it out longer though. Interesting to see what it makes after the longtubes 480sae would be stout.

Awweeee Hammer and his boyfriend Dougy are mad. Here is a fact you guys hate. My LBO bro at 3800+lbs in 3000+ DA was faster than your all out full Sausage rocker and cam swapped 3000lb go kart in better DA. Doug went 11.39@128 in -400 DA. Dougs car was also slower than my LBO 3800lb Army tank using your guys theories.. Marc has already covered this many times.

In all seriousness I would give this six gen the break and roll around it very hard now.
