i am racing my buddy with his 03 cbr he jus got it the other day..we always have a ford vs gm kinda thing.. and he says he could beat me...he used to have a 95 saleen with a bunch of crap and i killed him with my car stock...he is an ok driveri got a firehawk with the tsp231/237 cam with LT's Coated w/oyp coated, Random tech exhaust and hp tuned.. BFG DR's...who do u think will win...and then he is going to get a pully after the first run and then he says he will kill me with the pully..what do u guys think..thanks

 

H/C LS1 on the spray should be feared by just about anything that ford makes...

stock LS1s with a 100-125 shot can beat or hang with '03 cobras from what I've read

 

A stock LS1 with a 100-125 shot will "hang" with a stock 03 Cobra??? That that would be a pretty easy win for the LS1.


As far as the original poster is concerned... with your mods -- cam, headers, tuning... there is no reason you shouldn't beat him rather handily when he is stock. Depending on what he does with the pulley could change things.

EDIT: If you have all the mods in your sig complete... the first race will be a slaughter, and the second won't be much better.

 

i'm not gonna spray on him...nobody is sprayin in the race...i'm jus gonna run motor vs 03 cbr...if i win he pays me to do his pulley..if i lose i do his pulley for free install..i have everything that is in my sig...but not sprayin on him

 

I think you will be getting paid to install the pulley.

 

That's a good fair deal. I think you will kill him from your sig. I think it would take him a few more mods to beat you.
