Nice death to the original poster. Some of those L's are pretty quick. I got killed by one at the strip a while back. He ran a 12.5x.

 

Like Cobras, you never know what your up against when you line up with an L. Its so easy for them to just add a pullie and gain a decent amount of hp. I've ran 5 or so Ls and only one of them was stock. The first one I ever encountered was an older guy who had thick smoke coming out of his fenders for the first couple of gears. Once he got traction, he was gone! He was running high 11s. Too bad that was when I only had bolt ons
