Well, I was rolling down rt.50 heading towards mineral county, kind of a rural 4 lane(2/2) highway, no traffic, no cops. I had the cruise set at 60 or so, and this purple 94? maybe lt-1 z28 comes flying up on me, and you know that people don't just come up on you for no reason like that, so as soon as he got behind me, I clicked the cruise off and from about a 60mph roll, when he got right beside me, I punched it! That freekin' ls1 dumped down to 2nd and away I went. He kept up till about 70 then for every 5mph I accelerated he went back about 1 or 1.5 lengths, then when I hit about 150 or so I guess he gave up, or hit a speed limiter or something, so I braked and he caught up, he had the BIGGEST grin on his face and gave the thumbs up! we punched it again just for fun and I watched him vanish

I have never been so happy to have this car!

2.) What mods do you have? That's a hard pull to get 1 - 1.5 cars on him per 5 MPH

150mph? Thats pretty fast!!

Good LT1 kill, but don't get cocky. There are a lot of strong LT1s out there.

 

If he was stock he probably ran out of steam around 150mph, i know my car stock felt like I hit a wall around 150, Ive had it to 170 now though. If they are governed its around 118mph (going from memory) unlike the LS1 cars which are governed at 162mph.

No governer on the LT1, unless you've got a baseline version. Then you're governed at 115-mph. You can tell the baseline Z28s because they've got 110-mph gauges. They're rare, though.

 

Nice kill , but those are rediculous speeds!!! Unless you were on a closed track, I wouldnt suggest doing that... EVER...

+200mph on rural streets ... thats the only way to fly....
