The 5.3 was rated as much as 315 and had a much longer and better power band. Once again jc is wrong.

Now his math is even fucked up. When did a 5.3 have more cubes than a 5.4? Is there a different cube conversion for gm stuff?

They weren't.
9 second 0-60 time.

10 second 0-60 time.

The 5.3L wasn't rated at 310HP until the L33 came out in 05. From the same time period as the 5.4L DOHC, the best the 5.3L could muster was 295/325 and that was in the final year of the 4V. Typical Hio trying to compare newer GM to older ford.

I was referring to the LQ4 and LQ9, because as previously stated, the 5.3L couldn't beat the 5.4L, so you had to move up to the 6.0L.

The 5.3 could and did beat the 5.4. Been there don that. Even the newer 3v vs the older 295 hp 5.3. You simply don't know wtf you're talking about.

Besides you said the 5.3 couldn't make as much power with out cubes. You provided no stip and the 5.3 simply out powered it.

Lq4 and lq9 kicked the **** outta 5.4s.

If I'm gonna compare 2 top level cars I'm not gonna handy cap one by using a lower level engine numb nuts.

Wouldn't surprise me if the 5.3 made over 300 hp. Gm is conservative with advertised hp/tq. I am not similar with the "intech" to know if ford did the same with that. But it's pretty common so see a LS motor making more than advertised

The car that I built, ran door to door from a roll, with a car that trapped 117, with a 2.0 60 foot, in +4000 DA and into a 40 mph head wind. And this was about 20-30whp ago, 150 lbs heavier and shifting 700 rpm lower than I am now. I would straight up castrate your pile of ****, kiddo. And this infuriates every atom in your body.

Well.....it's already been proven the notch would drag your *** on the one and only race that you have been in.

You see you got drug by a 114 trap car . The notch trapped 119+ with the previous owner wuth 2 less lb of boost and no ported blower.
