agreed but the 3000GT in this case is a 380whp car...thats not the fastest thing around but that should have been a legitimate matchup for a 400hp stock ls2...or so I thought. That ls2 must have a tune and/or gearing done.

500-600lb difference and likely no more than 10hp difference.

What speeds were you going from?

35, 40 and 45.

But like I stated earlier that 'stock' c6 raped another stock c6 by a buslength. il post the video soon

Likely something small making the difference. Black one probably has tune with tm gone. Tuning out the tm is pretty big.

Torque Management.

The factory computer reduces torque during shifts to help the transmission last as long as possible.
