I know what both teams on each side of the ball can do. Trust me, the more i am building motors here at HPE, the more i am finding out about stuff. More knowledge then i thought i would ever learn is now being pummeled into my head.
Trust me on this. If i had a 87 notchback stang. I can build a motor for 6500 to 7000 bucks on 93 octane pump gas, and destroy almost every single f-body in the state. but this is price wise. i can do more with a SBC then with an ls1. Until the aftermarket picks up, the ls1 will be behind a well built ford. Mind you, i say out of say a million Mustang owners, 50,000 know how to make them fast

also a Ford small block (5.0) is pretty much an ls1. Chevy took a ton of design and what not from ford, to make their stuff. Also if you switched the intake and exhaust valves (which you cant), you can run ls1/6 heads on a Ford Small block. pretty crazy huh
incorrect with chevy is the best....
i am still waiting for an ls1 to even make 1000 hp and hold together
and i do not want to hear anything about the C5-r
