my first kill

my first kill been a member for a while now but i dont post to often....but i have to tell about my first kill. Iv had my 2002 Ws6 for aobut 2 months now and since the day i got it a guy who lives down the street throws a rev my way evey time he goes past the house....he drives a 97 mustang gt...i know its wrong to pick on mustangs but the guy was asking for it...well last night i was coming home from work and i see him about 2 cars up....so i jump up next to him and ask him if he wants to see what he car can do....he replies with..."i dont think that car has what it takes"...so i give him a laugh and say well lets find out...he nods and i tell him to go when he ready....i was at about 45 in second and he puches it...i let him get about a car on me and i lay into it 
by the end of second we are dead even....i look at him and smile as i slam third and pull aobut a car on him...i finnaly let off about 2 cars up...and to my suprise he didnt give me a fly by or the finger....he give me a 
and says nice run...had a lot of fun and the guy turns out to be a pretty nice guy....he just dosent know much about cars...

I don't think he was picking on the guy, I think the guy was just asking for it. If i go by and rev up a Viper and he catches me at a light and rips me loose, do i deserve it?
I think he just saw him and went for the opportunity. nice kill by the way. Nothing like handing a wise guy his azz.

Nice first kill. There are many stock GT drivers that just assume their cars are the fastest on the road. I will be honest, before I got my Z28 I thought all F bodies were wimpy cars, I just never bothered to educate myself. I thought Mustang GT's could kill any F body, then I woke up.

I didn't mean to say that he was PICKING on him in the that way......just htat racing a stock or near stock mid 90's GT is automatically picking on them, even if they started it, because it's no contest

Dont worry though guys i am just playing around with ya
I know what both teams on each side of the ball can do. Trust me, the more i am building motors here at HPE, the more i am finding out about stuff. More knowledge then i thought i would ever learn is now being pummeled into my head.
Trust me on this. If i had a 87 notchback stang. I can build a motor for 6500 to 7000 bucks on 93 octane pump gas, and destroy almost every single f-body in the state. but this is price wise. i can do more with a SBC then with an ls1. Until the aftermarket picks up, the ls1 will be behind a well built ford. Mind you, i say out of say a million Mustang owners, 50,000 know how to make them fast
also a Ford small block (5.0) is pretty much an ls1. Chevy took a ton of design and what not from ford, to make their stuff. Also if you switched the intake and exhaust valves (which you cant), you can run ls1/6 heads on a Ford Small block. pretty crazy huh

i am still waiting for an ls1 to even make 1000 hp and hold together
