Default White Whale VS DSM

Had a pull tonight with a DSM. Real cool dude that just likes to race his junk win or lose.

He said it was a 60mm terbo/stalled automagic/AWD car.

Pretty stripped down and light. ~3000lbs vs my ~3950lbs.

Note: No nawz was burnt in this vid. But I was prepared to. lol

Only did the one pull......

The car:

Nice run.

Why he didn't ask for digs against you is beyond me. Would have been interesting then.

A stalled awd auto out looking for roll races lol

Thanks!

I did a dig with him earlier in the year. He gave me the hit and I won.

Tonight was my choice of race. Cold *** roads and shitty invo tires is not dig friendly for me....at all.

That talon is the equivalent of a GSX Eclipse right? Buddy had one of those that was pretty quick. But gosh are they unreliable!

He's had real good luck the last 2 years, until tonight.

They are hit or miss, all anyone ever talks about is "ZOMGZ THE CRANK WALKK" It's kind of annoying. Knew someone pushing about 600 through a Talon, it was down all the time but when it was running, it was definitely quick.

The GSX guy was back in highschool, so maybe the low budget can explain away some of the issues he suffered lol!

Nice runs.....looks like the top picture if of a dodge stealth......or Talon with a dodge door on it. Looks like a pretty quick ride either way.

Nice run!!! Pulled pretty hard.
Those DSM can be pretty damn quick...............IF they can stay together long enough. If I am not mistaken, many of those motors suffer from crank walk due to thrust bearing play.

The 7 bolt 4g63's are the ones that crank walk. The 6 bolt's are pretty strong. The whole car is pretty prone to breaking when you start making serious power with them, cool cars none the less.

Thanks Cman!

I'm sure the DSM will come back stronger once it's fixed...again.
