The new cool thing is to call my car a 14 sec car because I have no problem saying when I felt it slip, I put it in 5th and cruised to the finish.

This video is on the front page story on the main Ls1tech page today - not to bring up an old thread.
I watched the vid - so there was a gap around 3-4th gear and the Cobra made it back up and passed the camaro at the top of 5th maybe at 150?
Am I not seeing this right or why is this a kill for the camaro?
Yes I own a Cobra and might be a fanboy but that is irrelevant, just confirming facts.....

600whp gets most of these cars trapping 127-133+mph in the 1/4. Which could tear up about 99% of anything on the street.
That is why they have a reputation if you didn't know.

back in 2004 you could spend $3K-4K and upgrade the blower to whipple or KB with a KB 'boost a pump' and make 600-650whp/600wtq with pump gas and have a reliable setup.
600whp gets most of these cars trapping 127-133+mph in the 1/4. Which could tear up about 99% of anything on the street.
That is why they have a reputation if you didn't know.
