Corvette Kill I was driving down I-20 Eastbound right after the green oaks exit when I see a newer corvette in the far right lane. So I slowly pull up next to him, thinking he's gonna be the typical vette driver and slow down to 50 then puss out, but right as I get along side him I see it's a kid that's only a little older than me (18) and his girlfriend. So I throw a little rev and the girlfriend laughs so I just sit there next to him and he gives me the head nod and starts a three count. On the third honk we launched it from 50 mph while I was in second gear, and I immediately started to pull on him. By the time I shifted to third I had about half a car on him and when I made it to fourth there was about a 2 car difference. Afterwards the guy drives up 
and his girlfriend stares straight forward. Definitely the high point of the night! This was also my first vette kill, so i'm über-pumped!

nice kill, i drove a 2001 vette auto, although very fast, i wasnt impressed. I think my car will keep up with it, if not take it. Nice kill though man, and being a corvette owner myself, i can say they do look down on f-body's in general, without thinking they have the same engine and drivetrain, and with minor mods can be just as fast.

Yeah, I know everyone isn't a dick, but some people think just because it's a vette it's GOT to be "faster". I am waiting for my chance to take one down myself, it is in the works too, check out my thread in this forum

I had a discussion/dispute with a Vette owner who SWORE that Vette's came with a larger cam than an F-bod (regardless of the '01+ larger cam). 
Weeks later I ran into the same dude at a meet and I had him kneel and get on all fours behind my car, and I asked him if he thought all F-bods came with that big 'ol black thing linking the two rear wheels together. He was kinda quiet after that.
For the most part though, I have nothing against Vette owners. I loooovve Z06's.
