I was amazed at how poor traction is on a C6, and even more surprised how mild(useless) the stock TC is. At first I thought I was overreacting from being spoiled by a full drag prepped suspension but they are a handful! My bone stock LS3 with Eagle F1s absolutely massacres the tires in first and second, and the rear almost always yanks violently to the left. I can't imagine adding another whopping ~70hp/40tq on top of that with the LS7! That is also with TC + Stability control both turned on. It is definitely a "performance" TC - not your average "hit-a-brick-wall-as-soon-as-the-tires-spin" like many cars have. If you are getting on a C6+ expecting TC to save your ***, you are in for a rude awakening. I have driven LS3 Camaro's with the same power and they do NOT behave as dramatically.

I guess that's why people wrecking Z06s and ZR1s are so common...they are downright difficult to launch from a dig or low roll, even bone stock. I might even go so far to say they are just plain dangerous on street tires...and I have driven some straight up death traps on the road lol.
And I thought I just needed to learn how to drive again, haha.

Going from my 4th gen to the C6 is a big difference. I know I have years of seat time in the Camaro, but I feel like I can drift that thing all day, were as when the *** end comes out on the C6 it gets dramatic quick... just need more practice, I guess!

The only tires worth a damn are R888R’s for handling and cruising around town, NT05R’s for traction sub 750whp, and then from there some Mickey’s or M&H’s. I’ve ran them all. Matter of fact my 19’s have R888R’s and my 17’s have M&H’s.

I think it ends up being your position in the car is different. It feels like when the vette is sideways it's really side ways because you're closer to the rear axle vs the fcar.

Old stingray style 68-82 vettes had a odd feel do to that. You almost set on the rear tire in those cars.

How so? Are you aftermarket twins? Big Single? I'm JB4, FBO, Race BEF, and a single 450 with no venturi hold my fuel pressure 75ish during a whole run with half a tank of e85. Logs show no difference between about e40 on up, so I just dump 6-7 gallons in and let it rip.

Stock turbos, no BEF though.

I can watch my lpfp dip down some on runs I datalog. Especially during 1st and 2nd gear because of engine acceleration speed at the time.

I wish I had convenient e85 to run in my 135i. Hell, highest octane I can get is 91 unless I go to the track..
