That tranny nicknamed 'automagic' for good reason, is quite impressive...until everyone else builds one.
Not raggin on the Stang or anything, almost bought a Coyote myself, but lets call it what it is. A great transmission.

I feel the same way about the Hellcats. That A8 is something else.

Just like the A8's in the 6th gen. Lol. Good auto is not unique to the Coyote.

That is a good point. Wonder what one of these newer automatic transmission would have done for some of the older cars. Would have been interesting.

Woulda picked up a auto ls fcar about 1sec no doubt. They had horrible gearing and massive tm. With th the a10 it has a drag mode that gets rid of tm(on the 5br0 anyway)....much better gearing and much quicker shifts.

Wonder how much work qould be needed to put a8 or a10 in fbody.

i know a10 dont fit in c7. Vengeance said whole tunnel would have to be redone over a8 cars to fit.

Likely not. Just barely ahead of a fcar like it was. And that was mostly just glory runs. But why we always gotta be in boost mode for the furds?

Lol....mach 1 was no drivers race. The cobro had a edge on glory runs. Plenty of fcars hung with them or beat them with very little mods.

i own a fi furd.

Mach one would lose top end. Cobra heat soaks plus any WOT runs in 5th gear mean BOOM.

lol, because the cobro cant be modded also. you want to stipulate enough mods for the f-body to hang with a mid 12's car. glory runs my ***. every terminator i know of, murdered the **** out of modded f-bodys with JUST enough tire. common mods put the f-body in the dust.

your bullshit aren't facts, they are bullshit.

Fact is the bolt on 03 cobros my friends had ran upper 11s at best. Nothing new or special to get a fcar there. Both those are facts. 03 cobros ran around 13.0 stock. Not unheard of for fcars to run that stock or with minimal mods.....more facts.

mid 12 cobro were glory runs. Guess what....best glory run for a stock fcar was 12.6

fact is they're closer than you and many other **** to think.

it would take a blower swap cobro to stay close enough to even get a wiff of the stank coming off muh nuts.
