Well he's been a member of this site longer than some talking down on him. Obviously don't talk a lot of **** by poasts. Maybe just thought he'd talk a lil about a street race. But errybody knows the truth huh? Doubt he'll poast again here no matter.

I'd practice the launch and going from a dig. I've got no experience with 1,000+ whp cars. On an fbody sometimes an air bag in the right coil spring set around 15 pounds can help the car plant the right tire. Some folks use an air bag / drag bag in both rear springs. Maybe someone else can comment.
As others mentioned that vette will be nasty from a roll.
Good luck and be safe.

^^^^^I would slip the clutch from a dead stop and keep slipping it until going 100mph, in order to ensure good traction. By then the clutch will be nice and hot so it will stick to the flywheel real good.

Your running 15s in the back so I'm assuming your running some sort of radial or slick. I would def go from a dig and have a buddy prep your side if you can. Don't activate nitrous until 2nd gear and make sure your running full nitrous on 3rd and 4th gear. And def ride the clutch first gear and possibly second if need to
