Corvette gs vs gt 500
I have a 2013 corvette gs m6. And plan to race my buddy for 100 dollars. He has a 2008 gt500 m6, convertible.. stock as far as I know. What are your predictions? Dig and a 40 roll.

Hes never raced. And I've been out of the game for about 7 years or so lol. Both cars bone stock. I did run another friend In his 2018 mustang gt, fbo and e85 and drag radial m6. And my car bone stock. From a 40 roll it was a dead even race. I need to rerun him tho.

sure seems that way. A10 makes those cars......but it was still a fbo m6 car vs a stock car.
moral of the story is if both are stock furd only has 2 yrs worth of stick cars that could outrun a stock gs ls3 car. That be a 13/14 gt500. All the rest are gt100 and you should have him covered. A 08 vert gt500 is likely a 13sec car.

first gen gt500s need a GREAT tire on the street. great hooking suspension etc. to still lose. a hero driver, perfect shifting, the exact right tires with suspension and the gt100 has a chance.
this 08 has none of that.
at the strip, when the gt100 was a new car in clarksville, mid 8's in the 1/8th mile. no pray of hooking it. the guy had a new gt500 and a new ford GT. he was in the car club i was in.
consider before everyone just **** on all gt100s....with a tire and suspension, with a car that runs near the top end of stock gt100s, it has 400rwtq at 2900 rpm. the tire and suspension freaks CAN run 12.0. on car will only pull 9 degrees of timing, while another 22. the cars varied a LOT on power output. 390/390 were common, and 425/427 happened also.
a few were fast. i've personally never seen a 07-09 near stock run well, but they can. i wish now, i had gotten the gt100 instead of the coyote. it would be a terbo lol.
