I have 15k miles on my 555R's right now. They're starting to get a little bald in the center but they should go another 5-10k miles yet. I run them at 25 psi.

 

So like, maybe 10k miles?

 

 

Wow! If you have that much on your 555r's & think you have that much more? That tells you've been doing a whole lot of nothing with your nine second race car.

Adjustable lca brackets and lcas really gave the car a more planted feel in the rear. I do miss the solid rear axle lol

 

if i could get a guaranteed 15000 out of a set of nto5R i would have no issues running them

 

They will last that long if you don't burnout every stop light.

I got about 12,000 mi. and probably 50 track passes out of mine. They are a very good all around radial

 

I have a 4400 FTI billet triple disc, 373s and built trans. With MTs it's fine on street

 

Man this whole thread is everything that is great in life. Ive lost to plenty of Hondas/WRXs on the street before. Plenty of 11 second and quicker daily drivers rolling around in the import world. Time goes on and more and more mods help.

Whats even better is when you get a set of man size tires and roll around on the street, come across almost anything and all of a sudden nobody wants to run anymore. too skurred.

 

Yep very true. When people around here see my 315 wide DR's, they get scared and turn off right away. I whoop people at 1/2 throttle all the time too.
