18 GT A10 vs 19 Camaro SS A10
Ran my neighbors 2019 Camaro SS A10 last night. My car has a Roush axle back but otherwise stock. On the 2nd run, I thought I had dropped into 2nd gear but was in 3rd. Made for a great race though.
1 - 30 roll
2 - 40 roll, Mustang in 3rd gear
3 - Dig, Mustang short shifts 4-5

i would think so. The 5 liter is a higher revving engine so it like the extra gear splits. The 6.2 has more tq and would probably prefer to stay in the gears a little longer and have the tq carry it. That’s all I got. But the new ten speed is a very good match with the 5.0. I don’t think the engine makes much more power than the previous year, not enough power difference that justifies how much faster an 18 is vs a 17.

Thanks man
My car doesn't have any driving modes aside from sport and drive. It's a 300a model.
Thanks dude. I honestly expected more but maybe the next one I run into will be different?
Both cars were in sport mode. I'm not sure how much the passenger made a difference here considering my car weighs 3950lbs with me in it and a half tank (scale verified). I'd say we were nearly identical, give or take 25-30lbs.

^^^You were lying and got called on it.
doesn't matter....he was still carrying ballast vs you not.
even miles on these new cars can make a difference as they unlock power with break in.
Thanks man

pretty simple as far as the passenger thing. He had one you didn’t. The heavier car doesn’t get to negate that fact regardless. Looks like you still would have won but a passenger usually makes a decent difference
so far I’m kind of disappointed with the a10 cars. Maybe they will really come alive when trans tuning becomes available GM probably neutered them worse than the a8. From the track times I’ve seen so far and a few vids they don’t look any faster and possibly slightly slower than the a8 cars
