Not swapped....replaced. A swap requires mods to make it work. A relacement drops right in with no changes.

It was a oem production motor.....in a crate. But not really a "crate" motor as most think of a "crate" motor typically being of higher performance than a oem production motor. I used the term crate in muh sig because that's generally what people call all engines that are prebuilt.

Still mad I see I haven’t even been back to the track yet 10.79 or whatever you ran will be easy to pass up . Way the car was sitting it would of ran 10.60s maybe even a 10.50 here after issues were fixed .

She might have ran a very high 10 once. An obvious timing error doesn't count in most of the free world.

See chart made by willzm below:

I see that chart is etched in your mind hard corn like. I guess you fail to realize all the other passes were me either walking it out or it spinning it's *** off.

Meh.. When I had Nanner, what I stated WAS true at the time. Pray was the only one really getting unreal results out of them and he has evolved that and continued to make gains. The new 5.0s ARE capable.. but the LT1 just has advantages NA over the 5.0. The biggest one being the off idle torque. The gen3 5.0s freighttrain the backhalf with the LT1 cars murdering them on the front half. I think part of the issue with the other NA 5.0s sitting in the upper 10s is because most opt for boost since its way too easy to make them fast on stock internals with boost. LT1 cannot compete with that without major fuel cost upgrades.

With that said, my GS as a total package in simply the best car I have ever owned... by far... so far...

Ryan is my tuner and I know Brandon well. Been watching this build for months. It made 750 hp on the engine dyno at only 7200 rpm. Still hydraulic

Individual cylinder tuning is old school stuff these days. Ive been surprised it has taken the oem so long to implement it.

Good run by Brandon! Keeping that 1-2 shift until after the 60ft helps a bunch for sure.
