No it’s not you. It’s the cobra owner. People buy these high hp cars and take sellers word as gospel. Could have 650+ and just not be used to the car as well.

The car is super clean with like 40,000 miles and he seen the dyno sheet. IMO it’s the 93 octane and limited seat time. But our 70 rolls was his race being manual. Me hooking from a 40 woukd have probably been more to my advantage considering gearing and shift speed but who knows.

and he won’t even consider meeting me at the track so far

Terminal owner needs to get used to the car, your car is good but you simply kept up with the driver and not the car. If he can drive good and even on your "kill mode" You won't stand a chance it's rather simple.

its not as simple as dyno numbers and weight. If we had the same rwhp numbers what do you think would happen ? Cars are about equal in weight

on my drag setup at 650 rwhp I would flat out embarrass him. Guaranteed. Cars setup like mine are in the mid to high 9s at 650 rwhp. ~140 mph. He’s got a low 130s car

You don't have 650rwhp, you didn't race on "kill mode" Either. I can play the what if game too, if I'm on Kill mode in my fat gen I'll destroy your car in a race. See how easy it is to be delusional?

yeah I did. But I think that’s partially because my tunes have been screwed up lately from my intake leak since late last year

no. Because you aren’t even in the same solar system as my car

i could literally pull a plug wire and still beat you

whats with you and the mustang defense anyway ? You go out of your way to give them any excuse constantly. It’s odd.

what do you want me to say about this race anyway ? I’ve been strait from the beginning and given every detail I have available. Wtf man. Why the hate ?

Jay specifically asked you a couple of questions. You're so quick to act like an angry child and point out what you think other people don't know...how about having an adult conversation for a change.

Well, he's spinning that Whipple decently, with a 3.25 he's somewhere around 20 psi. There are currently unknown variables that can affect that like lower pulley size, still on stock manifolds?... etc. But, with 91 and what's known currently, 2003Cobro's earlier estimate is pretty spot on. How's he addressing cooling? Our cars have like 50 built-in excuses, we'd be here all day if tried to dissect all of them. Your car is doing more with less for (insert reason here), that's all that matters lol.

Hes around 20lbs 600-660 depending on tuner assuming he’s running a stock lower.

So take that car, put a new driver behind the wheel on that trans and it (warning bench racing is about to start) he could run as low as 10.2x @ 134-135

If he’s soft and unskilled and has an extra 200lb driver he’s likely to miss a shift or over rev and run 12.20 at 122 - it’s not an A8 or an A10

I never thought you were lying by any means and I’m not usually this hard on threads but when I read 700whp (in your title) and then it turns out we really have no earthly idea how much it makes, only what it should make then what it should run. Any car (kill mode or not) will only run XX.XX time with XXX trap speed with XXXX weight regardless of any opinions. Jesus himself (love you Lord) can tune it and still obey physics.

I’m going to be the voice of reason - devils advocate - for data on all threads when I see this moving forward. It’s not you personally-

I’m an LS, Coyote and Hellcat lover before anyone assumes otherwise.

I never thought you were bullshitting, you're a straight shooter. I own one of these cars, and I know that it's really easy to have one put 600+ on paper but perform like *** (relatively) on the street. Now if you raced some guy that raced some guy that raced some guy in a Cobra, and through a series of ridiculous postulations that now means you beat everybody at half throttle and run theoretical 9's.....then I might try to pick it apart LMAO.
