Road race set up typically has more control for the chassis. I'm sure you wouldn't put less control in it to go faster right now.

I'll tell ya what. The times either or all of us have run in the past dont amount to **** if we cant grab the keys and go do it again right now. Your car is broke, or your *** is broke, or whatever. I sold the Evo. I'm working on my putting my SS back together. im putting it back together initially NA on pump gas. What was your best 10 second pass? We'll see who goes faster with all else being equal.
Btw....I found .3-.4 in that car after that track outing. If one really wanted to get aggressive with other **** that .6 was there.
Actually the car is perfect other than the water in the oil pan issue. I'm not broke so I'm doin ok. Thanks for the concern.

You had 4 tires touching the ground pulling your ***....a 1.8 sucks.
I had four tires spinning in the middle of second gear. Not much pulling/pushing to be done when they are spinning. If you cant get that I now understand why you cant comprehend the differences in ET.
10.7@129.8 pump gas , driving to and from the track on a rain worthy tire. No gutting...normal dd **** in the car. Bolt on ls6 with a m6. I mean I'm sure someone could build something to go faster....it has been done. You probably can't but idk what the big deal is.
So 10.7@129.8 is what you want me to beat on pump gas driven to and from the track? Gotcha. Is it ok if I do that with a less displacement truck motor in a full weight full accessory car?
