so a million views can get you like 1000 bucks. If you get a really popular channel going it can be lucrative. Lot of work though

edit.... just quick search it’s around 18 cents per view and they take almost half. So yeah million views for 1000 bucks roughly

the guys pumping out a few several million views videos a week are doing pretty damn good lol

takes a lot to get that kind of popularity going though. Even hitting 100k views on a vid is tough

I just read it again. At first I thought it was .18 of one cent I guess it’s actually a full 18 cents minus fees. So about ten cents per view I guess. Still hard but much better than I thought

Unfortunately, it seems you dont simply get paid per view. The estimates per view are based on add engagement. Which requires monetization, which means you're have to stop acting like such a racist, divisive ****.

Seriously though, I bet you could put together an entertaining channel if you put some time into it.

It's complicated. Depends on who is advertising, how many clicks, and who has ad blockers. Knew a guy that got 300K views a month and he was making between $1k-$3k a month. I get 50K hits a month and get between $100 and $200. Nothing major, but it pays for my gas. My channel has made 8 grand total.

Sounds like 10 cents per view profit is on the high side then best case scenario.

Maybe around 4-5 cents profit per view is closer to average ?

pretty sure the average person could get something going pretty easy to make an extra few hundred per month. I’ve got the GoPro for my car I’ve thought about it. I’d do weightlifting videos and car ****. Just have to get better at talking to the camera and video editing etc

ive gotten near 10k views on a video once with nearby no effort. But it took a few years. Was just a video of my heads cam 2010 idling lmao

Google adsense account, 1K subscribers, and I think at least 10K hours watched before they will let you monetize. I actually got monetized back when you needed an invite from youtube, think I got it when one of my videos hit 100K views.
