My friend that bought my 2002 1SC stripper hard top had it weighed earlier this year... 3480 with the nitrous system on a race star drag pack and full tank. Nitrous kit with the 15lb bottle and all the accessories was 60lbs. Only thing removed was !AIR and spare tire. So without the Nitrous and a less fuel, 3380 or so. Pretty sure the full Kooks True Dual exhaust is a little heavier then stock too. It was rated 3380lb stock...most F-bodies were 3450, WS6 cars were the heaviest. Shouldn't take a whole lot to get theses cars into the 3200 range. K-member, rear seat delete, light battery, spare tire, air, wiper motor and fluid tank, a/c, fiber hood...etc would get you pretty close.

Likesthepipe probably builds BMXs or something. You can tell she has noknowledge when it comes to cars. But than again most of the mustangs are built by shops not the owners on here touting there amazing prowess........
Mine was 3140 last time I weighed it. Stock wheels, front bar and full interior. Hardtop cloth auto with power windows. Ik hoping next time I weigh it ,it is under 3100
How come your na coyotah don't go mid to low 9s. Looks like it might even struggle to bust a 12 pass
Side question for Doug, what does a gen 1 coyote car (11-14) have to run with bolt ons and the auto to be a good build in your eyes. Say standard weight reduction like spare, exhaust, etc. Nothing serious for weight loss and on 93 octane. I'm not looking for an argument or anything like that I just want to know what you would say it "proper" for a LBO car to run. Does it need to run a 10 second pass to be a solid LBO car in your eyes? Again I'm just curious.

My 02 WS6 was 3260 with bolt ons weight savings on stock wheels. I don't think it has a front sway bar either.

The exhaust on fcars is heavy af. The muffler and tailpipes alone are like 30lb.
I still have wipers and fluid tank, jack/spare, ac, rear seat. I'm not really looking to do much more wr. But i do think a comfortable fcar could be had in the 28xx range. It would just be more extreme street STRIP car than I'm looking for. My car is built around improving overall performance.

Don't ask me mang. The reality i have seen is much different than interwebs. I mean at one point they went 10s with 3 mods. For the mods you're talking you be lucky to get to the 11s and likely won't leave the lower 12s. Now sf07gt will tell you 9s.

Can't believe the Bros keep trotting this lady out...... 3300 is light for an fbody? Your a moron few basic things and your down to that weight. I think my formula weighed somewhere around 3290 without me in it.
3,290? LIGHT! S550 or newer Camaro weighs over 400 lbs more. In case of Hio its ~600 lbs different. ‘The crew’ would lose it mentally trying to race a 37xxlb car. YOU ALL know it too but too much of a virgin to admit it. Hio runs 12s full bolt ons ls6 swapped at 3700lbs....... Chris you just run your mouth trying to be cyber friends with Hio because ‘Chevy’ life. Lmao

I wouldn’t have a problem adding 4-500 pounds to my fbody if I could bolt the 8
or 10 speed in it. Would make up for the weight penalty in the quarter easily.
He fails to realize this. He also fails to understand that jayplay weighed his s550 to be 36xx. He has also failed to run his own 5br0.......he's pretty much just a complete failure.

Jay has a base. Performance package is in the 37xx range. I see that weight is a sensitive topic around the crew in here. Dont worry Hio.. youll never know what heavy weight means as long as you keep trimming your rotors
Apparently it's a sensitive subject for you and your 2ton turd since you afraid to run it.
BMR scaled a MT82 performance package at 3730lbs. Them Coyotes sure do move that heavy body though unlike you, you needed to shave weight off to become somewhat relevant in the 1/4 mile. And Chris... you’re irrelevant in here just a fyi.
5th gen even heavier, terrible gearing and ran neck and neck with GEN1 and 2(M6 vs M6). One reason they run well is the gearing. The motor is big and heavy. The new Coyote with no tick with the 10 speed and boost is insane though.
