Hio go weigh a 93 GT rag top AOD with leather seats. Let me know what you find out. It will be over 3400 without driver.
"The first SN95, right after the fox weighed in at 3,380 pounds for a GT manual. So the lightest fox Mustang is a 1979 coupe at 2,550 pounds or 2,870 with a 5.0L V8 and heaviest is, as you probably already know, a GT convertible with automatic weighing in at 3,442 pounds"
We weighed an 87 5 speed LX with ttops. It was over 3300 without driver. The newer cars got heavier due to the wheels,air bag ,maf and sound insulation. One small reason the 87-88 cars were faster. SN95 were over 3300 even the striper v8s

Chris25 has a built 500hp GTO that he claimed runs 14s so he's in good company with a 13 second HC LS1 f body and 11.5 million dollar Frankenstein

That cars only real wr is front tube suspension , no sway bars and a drag pak that probably don't save much on those cars which doesn't make up for the added weight. It started life as a 5.0 auto car and the title says 29xx. I also weighed jasons old hatch car back in the day. Call it a bolt on cam only car with a m5 and complete as a hotrod fox gets with ac and normal options. It weighed like 2920 and still had the oe iron heads on it. Only real wr was a drag pak. Stock k, full interior he dd'd it to school.
Note to all......hotrod na foxes and especially cars with aluminum heads/drag pak no doubt weigh 3000lb or less. And they can easily be 2700 or even 2500 or less. It's just how it is.
At that rate none other than a vert is going over 3300lb and it may not. And yes they got heavier.....and mines a 92. Think about it.
As they got heavier and that shitty sbf got slower do to the weight it really made a tpi 3rd gen look good. Lb for lb the 3rd gens thrashed those old foxes. Turdgens handled better, braked better and ended up being faster in a straight line.
You're validation was your timing error 11.8 car getting drug by a 12.2 car. You validated me when i said you'd be lucky to get past a 13.0

Sure you can cherry pick a few cars that weigh a little more . But that's not really what anyone is saying. Normal hatch fox with mods/heads which are typically aluminum and a drag pak is gonna weigh less than 3k unless maybe it's topped off with a full tank of fuel. And that's not even the slightest bit difficult. Sure someone can add a blower and weigh more by likely 100lb or so but those cars are still light with that 100lb added.

My fox weighed 3240 excluding me before going h/c and removing smog. It's 100% definitely 3080 or more now no driver, and I'm 240. If I got to Hio raceweight he'd cry nitrous faster than he blew up the LS7.

C6Z was my dream car it after accident my wife and daughter didn’t want me to get another one. 6th gen Camaros don’t look great honestly so I tried a Hellcat. I think I’ll keep the bro but I’m always looking at C6Z’s

A termi notch car should be over one full second faster than my 11.8 run and trap 10+mph more.
