Default C6z NA compilation

Threw together a compilation of runs I had when my car was NA, after I swapped from the MSD intake to a Hi Ram.

Hats off to you and your opponents agreeing on those speeds for the roll races. I know these cars achieve those speeds very quickly but still takes ***** to do it.

Do the C6 Z06s have problems with shifting at high rpm/wot like the C5s did ?

I didn't have any issues NLSing at that power level, over 7500rpms. Even at around 900whp, I was able to do it. Over that, 3rd gear didn't like it. I didn't do it very often, just because I didn't really need to.

Wow. I can't even imagine powershifting a 900whp car especially a Vette at those speeds. My measly 550 whp 6th gen makes me pucker up a little when I shift at wot lol
Didn't the C6s switch to a TR6060 in 2011 ?

Very nice car btw. You were ridiculously fast NA. C6Z is definitely on my list of next fun cars

I can upload the only 2 videos I have of me doing it. One was at 580ish whp and then one at 900whp. Once I started revving the car to 7600rpms, I stopped power shifting. I was a little more freaked out by the RPM, lol.

2008 is when they went to the 6060. Mine is a 2008. So far, it's seen 1049whp and it's still stock. New setup should push over 1400whp. I wonder how long it will last.

Nice video! I plan on having a 4 door for my next play toy so the kids can ride around comfortably. Then you post videos of your car and I'm online looking at used Z06's. Damn you! LOL

I was there, but not in my car. I was driving my tuner's silver Z06. Setups are similar. My car is a turbo car now, not NA anymore.
