Took fatcat out to Austin with some friends. Got runs with 3 different cars. Crazy G8, Big turbo fox and a v2 ctsv.

G8 is built 427, bottom, h/c, high ram, weight reduction, etc plus nitrous (640whp off bottle). 3 runs but first 2 was trash but 3rd run was clean from 45ish. On hit he jumped about a bumper. At around 145ish when let out he had car and half on me.

Turbo fox has built motor, 80mm turbo, guy said it makes 1000hp. Ran on street but said its mainly track car. First run i hit jump out 3 cars and left off as I dont think he heard honks. Next run i try count down, i jump out 2 cars from 40 roll. By 145 he had came back so he was half car behind or so but said he don't have top end.


3rd car was V2 CTSV coupe, pulley, full exhaust, cai, e85. First run from 30 we leave even, but i walk pretty hard and let out around 140 and I'm easily 4 cars ahead. He then wanted a 40 hit and it was even worse as i walked away even harder. Guy was cool though after.

i thought it would of been better too. But it was bad. He did say he's going to do cam and heads so maybe that will help him.

im on stock boost, yet pullied ctsv got crushed . Ouch.
But in final form I'll be 20-22lbs of boost.

The G8 is a stock bottom end LS7 and the only "weight reduction" it has is no hood, which actually hurts him more than helps.

Not to take anything from your car, I saw some of your other runs and it runs well. I was driving my tuner's silver Z06 that night. I wanted to get a run in with you. Maybe another day.

 

gotcha, i was told it had forged bottom, and other weight reduction. either way it ran good and got me.

I will be back out, I'm getting ready to send off my pcm so i can do my pullies.

I ran a, supposed, 900whp Hellcat Charger like 2 years back. It was pretty damn close.
