The A4 I have with 3.23s is shifting 1-2 at 44 to 46 and 2-3 at 88 to 91.
But, I have been playing with the shift points and increased teh rev limiter to 6500.
AND at http://www.f-body.org/gears/
The A4 with 3.23s and a 275/40 17 tires will shift at 6200 rpm at 48mph for the 1-2 and at 90mph for the 2-3
The 02' WS6 M6 with 3.42 and the same rev limit of 6200 and tires gets 1-2 at 52 mph and the 2-3 at 78mph.
the M6 with 3.23s is 55 for 1-2 and 82 for 2-3.
SO THERE!

Sometimes you guys get way too serious

40 mile roll
All I know is that even when I get my cam and converter (next Spring, after I finish with my current intake/exhaust mods), I'm keeping the 2.73's. 35 mph 'SWEET SPOT', monstrous top end pull, and good gas mileage. The 2.73's are

JUST COURIOUS, does anyone know how much a fully loaded evo weighs, my cammed vette (390rwhp)that won is around 3200?

I don't call bullshit when someone beats me from a dead spot roll on my stock A4 converter.

. I would say I have more right to compare turbo cars to LS1's over you any day....my car before my cammed vette was a '01 prelude fully built w/ a rev hard stg 2 turbo kit by Joe-tech out of Dallas
. Lets here what you have to back up your thoughts. BTW I sold the turbo'ed prelude since every GT from a red light could drag my ***, just like your little friend in the rice burner got treated.
. I was looking into an evo before I made my mind up to get a better car.
that weight is roughly correct, and the 13.3 is with a great driver. I will tell ya at the track I see stock evos pushing high 13's low 14's. Added that these kids probably dont know how to drive to well. Just to put it into retrospect, the 13.4 is a more accurate time, and is a time from professional drivers for either Mitsu or a sport compact magazine who do nothing but flog new models to test their limits.
The evo is a pretty quick car with some mods **and a good driver** (as with most cars). I have run some evos with intake, header, exhaust, and blow off valve, and turbo timers. Yet to be beat. The ricers hear these low 1/4 times and think that their car will do that without trying...WRONG...thats where their big heads come from.
