Just got done installing my G5X3 on a 114 LSA with a 78mm LSX intake. I fired it up and it had quite a bark. It doesn't idle without tuning so I have to drop the car off this week. It was so hard not getting on it the first day, but you better believe I was down for some street testing the next morning.

A black Z06 was rolling up on my fast and I saw him coming so I threw it in D for more Rs. I gave him a bark and he just laughs. Okay? It's go time.

We catch a light on a straightaway. I stall it to 3K on my YTP4200 and I'm ready to see if my new M&H Cheaters will hook. Light drops and I snap it. HOLY ****! I started laughing my *** off because the car spun for about a half second and threw me back like a bouncer at a strip club. I put about 15 cars on him before he got across the intersection! This cam pulls!!!! My car always launches hard, but didn't have a lot of power up top. Well now, ha. Not bad. Can't wait for tuning. By the way, the vette turned around before he tried to go past me.

 

Damn I can't wait for my install!!! hurry-up and get it tuned, like to hear the numbers you put-down. I wanna leave Z06's in the dust instead of just putting a car or two on them Vipers are NEXT!!

What heads do you plan on running? I'm looking into a set of AFRs, but I want to wait for some more testing.

15 cars means you left when the light was still red.

Good kill even with the slight embelishment.

 

Sounds like a good converter match to that cam

If the vette spun off the line it would be easy to put 15 cars on him before the VETTE was across the intersection.

I hope you enjoy that cam, very nice peice of work that Lou has made and brough to the table.

The AFR's we recieved were very nice. The ports were very clean, seemed to be in great shape. We were sold out of them fast! Good luck with your car man!

Man now how are these guys going to look at a 3rd gen at the lights? Nice to hear that you got everything working because I have been reading alot of your posts. I also noticed you didn't wait for the LS2 intake but neither did I. I have a slightly used 90mm setup on the way.

 

Yeah, I couldn't pass up the deal I got on a LSX from TSP. Thanks Jason. Oh, and for all you bustas that called BS on the kill: my car 60s 1.5s before the cam, Bogarts, and M&Hs, the vette was on street tires and prabably stock. Believe it or not bro.
