Default V6 camaro vs. eclips

I know, I know this is LS1 tech, not 3800 series II tech. but i have a dam camaro and i'm going to tell you my kill, after me and the girlfriend ate at bennigins, we start coming home, i see this silver eclips pull up next to me, with 100 stickers, i guess he thought everyone of those things adds 2 HP and an exaust system and the whole ricer nine yards you know? oh well so we go and make a right turn and down the way a little bit is a straight *** road for about 6 miles not lights nothing, we get the light and it turns red i threw him a couple of revs, and we go when it turns green. by the time i was at 100 he was about 5 car lengths behind me, then we went from a roll at 70, i killed him by about 3 car lengths i know its prolly not great, but i wanted to share this with you guys. someday i will have an LS1.

the 3.8s can hit 130 easy. 3.4s top out at 120 and theres a 40hp dif, so i guess the 3.8s might even go past the 130 mark.

Yea i had a 94' v6, was a beast, i think i got it to a hundred but shut it down because i thought the engine would shoot itself if i kept the revs so high. I had the 3.4 and i know i wouldnt make 120. Im not sure about 130's easily but maybe 125.
