I was up at work last night, working late for a party, and one of the members pulls up in his 1960's replica Cobra. Sounds frickin sweet. Blue with white stripes. He came in and talked with some people until closing time. I'm walkin out to my car and he asks if I want to race. I'm thinking, "Hell no, you'll rape me!" but I said, "Why not?" We turn onto the same road and go from about 30 mph roll. Like I knew he would, he beat me to several car lengths to about 115mph. We circled back to the office and he asked me if I had any mods. I told him just a few boltons. I asked him what he had, he said a small block chevy putting about 390 to the rear wheels. Light ford + sbc. At least I had fun.

Nice run, even though it was a death. I find it cool a guy with a car like that would want to run. I always liked the style of those cars.

I would never disgrace a Shelby Cobra by calling it a ford. Nice race...dont get to run into many of those.
