I just showed a mag going 13s with a speed density 87 car. Few mags got them to go that fast. Cobra had better intake bigger tb better heads roller rockers. Go in any Mustang Forum and search. A 93 Cobra going 13s was pretty common. 94 Cobra however was slower
LT1s new were faster. Even an auto. Bigger motor more gear more compression. No brainier. Ford didn't have a Corvette type car to get handi me downs. 98 it even got worse.

302 actually made more than 4.6 non pi. More torque and actually made same power up top too. Crazy. Except for the crack intake manifolds they were very reliable though
I know what you showed me. I also know furds reputation to throw out ringers. Which is why your results are more accurate.

Yea emissions and cafe standards limit alot of what a manufacturer can do. Especially when you involve costs and price point.

It's not a free for all.

a friend went 16.1 with his stock 4.sux 2v. Grand am gts were faster than those turds
Like I said, they were protecting the Vette. Then your friend can't drive. I went 15.8 in a bone stock 96 GT convertible on a hot, humid night.

Doug will never believe any Ford times. When GM runs fast, it's totally normal, but when Ford does it, they sent out a ringer. I've seen people be loyal to a brand and defend it, but nothing like him, his whole identity is wrapped up in GM being fast and Ford being slow.

It's not about believing their times.......it's about being smart enough to call bullshit when no one else can even replicate them.

Example- erryone that had a new bone stock fox 5br0 post up their times. Bone stock to the tire reiterate, meaning no driver no r compounds. I bet it's a struggle to find to many that even got within .5 of that.

Mike ran his at one of the fastest tracks in the nation and didn't get near a 13.9.

as long as you meet the guidelines. The only one not locked in is you at this point

Here's another example of fox 5br0s. This article even has lx 5br0 times

https://www.motortrend.com/features/...bra-comparison

If I said lt1 cars ran 13.5 you ***** would have a heart attack.......and that's way more realistic than a fox 5br0 getting to the 13s bone stock.

Guidelines as follows:
NA 4V GT500 vs NA LS CAMARO
50-150 or 1/4 track pass (your choice)
Meet halfway.

So locked in right? No backing out later.

I don't know of any GT500's that aren't supercharged so there's that and I'm proud to say that I've yet to lose to a Mustang. I'm not saying I couldn't it's just that I haven't.

Maybe it's because when I line up next to FORD there's a certain amount of pride that comes into play and I will always give it my best with hopes that my driveline understands.

Comparison is ridiculous.
Neither motor in the video was assembled by OE, nor with GM/Ford parts.
Aftermarket pistons, heads, cams, intake manifolds.. NO relevance to OEM characteristics, except to disprove any old wives tales of Bore vs Stroke ratio.

Hahaha 😆 you are such a *****. You refuse to lock it in because you are scared of being embarrassed.

I don’t know what it will make so no advantage there. Maybe it’s the flop you pray it will be.

Neither one of us are required to post time slips before the race. That way nobody has an unfair advantage.

Every build has a budget. My NA 4.6 is no different.

You could always just man up and say lock it in and let me know when that ”modjunker” is done. However you won’t and we all know why 🤣

So you're saying no one should believe your 10 second track outing and 1.26 second 60 foot timing errors?

You have to have something to lock in.....and you don’t. Been 14 months of you just crying like a bitch

You lost that. Once corrected for the yuge difference in DA you lost.

Didn't you run like a 15

once again what does anything to do with my car have to do with this thread?

Besides there's nothing outlier about that.....besides the fact the car actually put the power down on that pass.

I own prime real-estate in that puny mind

I've set the guidelines bitch boi. You just keep trying to look for a way out. I guess your way out is just not putting anything together.
