Ford cast heads, Ford cast block, fully functional cooling system.
I guess it’s pretty much bolt-on by LS standards, it’s a comparable level of build to your 11 second 347 after all.
I think the 351 Cleveland was a better engine than the 351 Windsor. And I don't know why, maybe firing order and maybe a set of Flowmasters but those roller block 5.0's just sounded great.

TPI prices were insane and ever worse now. Plus Mustang has that 8.8 rear.
HiHO one argument you cant win unless wr throw 89 turbo Ta in mix
Turbo ta was even more expensive than tpi stuff.....and they only made 1k if them.
Coyotah doesn't have a better bottom end tho.

Windsors were gigantic turds. sbc thoroughly beat them the **** up.
Clevland was powerful but didn't stay together very well.
LSX tall deck dominates every engine Ford has put out since it's debut. Ford fails to compete with GM"s pushrod engine. It was proven that the DOHC 5.0 couldn't make the power or even stay together in a forced imduction horsepower shootout with GM's LSX engine built by Late Model Engines. If only GM would've came out with a DOHC LS engine but I guess they didn’t need to.
LSX tall deck built to 454 running on 91 octane will outperform anything Ford has put out in the last 20 years if not more from a performance standpoint. Ford has to supercharge to be relevant but throw a blower or turbo on the LSX and it'll beat out the Ford engine every time.
