Eh I think you are a bit off on your #s.

There are turbo tegs in the 10s and 9s. A lot of stock parts, except the pistons to change the compression ratio. Don't need a whole lot of HP to get a very light FWD down the track VERY fast.

That's interesting to know. Most tegs I've seen with the turbos go 11s with alot of internal work.

With some hefty octane race gas, they can hold some boost. As far as on the street you'll need some work to make it fast.

Yeah these guys usually don't go to the track much, they will be mostly street cars.

I think it will go to the Mustang unless the acura does a crazy launch. I wasted some gas once racing a 96 Mustang GT (automatic ). Man that kid talked a lot of ****, and I still beat him short shifting 1st at 2000 and going all 2nd gear. He never even passed me completly

Those turbo tegs need some race fuel to run those 11's and who the hell puts that stuff in to drive daily.

They are a bunch of clowns, funny guys I tell you. I can't wait to get my LS1. Already have a catback and ss3800 waiting to go in.

In my stock Gsr with no interior and a homemade fenderwell intake I managed to run 15.2@91mph.

inline pro has a civic that runs 9's on stock bottom end. you don't need to change pistons if these kids are smart. inline makes a stackable cometic head gasket that will drop compression way down depending on thickness chosen. there's daily driven stock internals civic and tegs that run 20 pounds or more of boost with the thicker headgasket

That's the problem, these guys hardly know anything about cars or what they are doing. They usually listen to the advice of one guy, he knows a little bit but not much either. I just listen to them but don't say anything anymore since they like to knock on V8s. Just for an example, going down the road and see a nice black with white stripes Chevelle 454 tubbed out, they gave it thumbs down. Fools I tell ya. Oh and these guys will be racing with full interiors, nothing stripped out.
