Nice kills man. I also have an Neon. Ran 13.4x @104.xx (hits high 12's with slicks)with exhaust and MBC. I hate neon owners that think they can beat everything.

 

You can mod a NEON to beat a z06. However, it is very easy to mod LS1/6 car to 10's and 11's. Bottom line is that who has bigger pocket wins.

 

First off I wanted a 10 second car I would have bought me a FoxBody for a few grand, dumped about 10 grand into it than bam. 10Second car. I dont want that though. I wanted a low 12 second Neon or S.R.T-4...whatever you guys wnat to call it. Money is a big part. I am only 18. Its not like I graduated college yet or anything. I am a cook right now. After im done with college than I can play around and have "toys" that run 9's. As of now...I like my low 13 second that I drive dialy...all year round. Soon to be low 12 second car.

 

Also, I would never even pull alongside a damn Z06 anyway. I know the outcome so why waste gas by revving or doing dumb ****?? If it pulled along side and wanted to race badly than I would and take the loss or *maybe* win when im done modding my car.

if anyone of you $RT owners have a video of a neon beating a f-body i'd love to see it, i see tons of LS1's w/ ubergobs of hp beating vipers, ferrari's etc on video and i hear all this bs talk from neon owners about all these crazy times and hp numbers comin out of these four cyls....seriously, not being cynical or sarcastic i wanna see a neon on video tearing it up....i have yet to see one do so

So you are saying an S.R.T-4 cant beat any fbody? Seriously, lets talk about "reality". It happens buddy. Dont think that there isnt a vid of a Neon beating an Fbody that means a Neon CANT beat one. I have beaten MANY fbodies and been beaten by many. So please, get your head out of your *** while you are still ahead.

 

 

That's the same guy that was talking about the "sleeper LS1." I wouldn't expect too much out of him.

It's not that hard to figure out...the NeonNeonNeon4s are in the 12s. The cars typically trap high for their ET (as do most higher powered FWD cars at the strip). Fbodies come stock in the 13s.

So not only are they outrunning the ET, they are surpassing the trap speed as well. It's really simple math. It doesn't mean that any NeonNeonNeon you see on the street will destroy you. It doesn't mean you will destroy any NeonNeonNeon on the street (well, some of you anyway...there's always the Units and the Cragers ).

The S.R.T4 is a quick stock car..BUT its still a dodge

I am 7-0 vs NeonNeonNeon4. Include track and street encounter. Is LS1 faster in Maryland or NeonNeonNeon4 is slower in Maryland? NeonNeonNeon4

 

i wasnt bein a dick about $RT's i just want to see a ****** video of one of these cars beating an f-body or corvette, i havent seen one in real life, so maybe there is one elsewhere on video that i can see..you get your head out of your *** and stop thinking that every post on here is an insult to neon owners..damn i hate stupid people
