11's are quick. An 11.1 is quicker than my LS1 F-Body has run thus far.

For comparison: I run Mid 11's on pump gas on 255/50/16 DRs.I'm right around $1,500 in mods...Stock internals,LS1 inatke,stock suspension,stock exhaust +cut-out in I-pipe. 1 power adder(NX wet). 3550RW. I'm in the 11's from the 75 to the 150.

I'm very slow compared to most on this board.

What kind of work and money is put into this low 11 Neon? Is is truly streetable? Run on Pump gas? STOP before you say anything. I am not going to discount this car if it's on race gas or if it cannot be driven daily. I just want to know for my own satisfaction.

If the NeonNeonNeon guys want people to believe their cars *can be* respectably quick.I think they have done that.

If however the NeonNeonNeon guys are trying to prove they are legititmately in the same league as the hardcore LS1 crowd I think the numbers just aren't there. Will they ever be? I don't know.

Type of gas? I cannot answer that....sorry. Streetable......yes and daily driven. How much $$$$, don't know.

I can tell you this for sure. The internals, axles, and tranny are stock. The car has everything in it (seats, A/C, powersteering, etc). The owner drives that car from home to work....it's his daily driver. For those familiar with So Cal, a couple months ago, Dave drove his car from San Bernardino to Palmdale Raceway (180 mile round trip) slapped on some slicks and made several passes. His best was 11.4 @ 126 (track elevation is 2600 ft). After the track closed, he threw on the street tires and drove home.

I don't think NeonNeonNeon are in the same league hardcore ls1 guys, but I do know there are fully built srts in the 8s.

This thread is getting ridiculous...and off topic. We're talking about drag cars and timeslips in the STREET RACING section. Give it up guys.
