Not w/o upgrading the fuel. Alot of people are going to 8 or so, but I would at least do injectors before going up to be safe. Also, with my system I would need to do meth injection to cool the charge temps.

Nice kill billy . btw my friend came back on leave from the marines and i told him i got a rear mount turbo. Took him for a ride in it an he almost crapped his pants lol. went from a 2mph roll and stomped it in 1st and by the time it hit about 3200 the tires broke loose and it peeled out down the street lol. I love this kit

Have you had any issues in terms of it scraping, or hitting debris?

No more than with the stock y pipe. You do have to pay a little attention, but no real problems. Mine is lower than most, because I have a pre-production kit. There has been a few minor changes that makes it higher, I just havent put the different pipe on yet.
Tom, I knew you would love it.

What color is your car? I'd hate to try to take you in my Firehawk and get embarrassed.

I'm in Dallas and occasionally go to Arlington for one reason or another.

there is a little more at stake with the turbo sitting low than a y-pipe though isn't there? i'm all about innovation and crazy ideas, but it seems a little problematic with the location........it's cool though, definetely "outside the box"

Yeah, would that turbo setup work well with a cammed car? G5X3? Sorry to hijack the thread.

I'm thinking dude, you can see the turbo hanging down in the back. ( I have the STS) He wants to see it, so we pull over and he is really cool about loosing. He was telling me he can pull on a new Cobra and plays with LS1's. He has $6000 in mods and is running 21psi. His car was nice, but I will stick with my LS1 Formula.
good kill that just go's to show that turbo-4's are no match for turbo-8's ls1 or not

I've got a G5X-3 also, and have been contemplating getting this kit. I know I will have to send my heads back to get re-worked for lower compression but I would really want to keep the cam. That would be so bad *** if it would work. I know that the cam loves N2o but I'm not sure how it would act with a turbo/blower. I would think that it would bleed off too much exhaust do to the high overlap, but I could be wrong. Anyone have some insite on this?

You're not kidding

I do have one question for you though.....why did I get booted from your forums? I thought I read that booting people was and you guys were proud of not doing it? Only thing I can imagine is that it was because of all he bad blood between us and you guys at the time so removal of LS1 members privelages was considered necessary That or it was b/c a bunch of you guys got banned here, one or the other I figure

you guys running a 112 lsa wont work well with the FI. The designer suggests a reverse split, like along the lines of a 226/220 on a 114. If you go into the 230 range, then go up on the lsa. Just for an example, a LS1 with forged rods and pistons (9.2), a small LS6 cam, stock heads, good fuel system;using the t-67 he is making 570/602 @ 10psi. That is a pretty mild motor making great numbers.

So with this setup, could you go with multiple turbos? Like say, four?...
