Being a vette owner can certainly try your patience, though. Import guys of every kind NEVER leave you alone, Mustangs & F-body people tend to get all upset & revvy, german sedan folks look down their nose at you, and anyone in a beater looks at you like you're the scum of the earth.

Get a big cam and a really loud exhaust, and all that will change. Even the import guys leave me the f alone now adays.

i think they just delivered the first set of C6's yesterday.. It was 70 of them. Not sure what dealerships they are going to, but they are now OFFICIALLY on the market. Kinda sucks cause now I see my C5 as an old car.

oh well bring um on.

This was the best way ever stated in what it feels like to own a vette..

I don't know about pulling 11's in the first C6, but a mid 12 second car stock not being the Z06 is great to see. Looks like Chevy is looking to take some of the fire from the GT and the Viper. And as for Italy, well if after buying their 600,000 dollar car they can afford to go to the strip or the track looks like they will have their work cut out for them. Nice death by the way!

German folks are always gay, they think they're alll rich and famous in their Mercedes or BMW. That's why when they look at me like a scumbag, i revv my borla in their face and smoke their ***.

By the way, nice death bro, i've yet to see a C6 here.

When I see a C6 on the road, I will just follow it all day to see where it goes. Forget work, the girlfriend, or anything else. It's a NEW VETTE!

My comment was that even a well driven SRT is not going to hang with a C6 vette, assuming the vette is driven competently.

Kinda of like how you beat a e55 from a 65 roll dropping into 5th.

Good run though man,

Actually I've seen 2 C6's already...and the first one was well over a month ago. I live in SE Michigan so I thought it might be a manufacturer car but it was a regular plate when I got close. I saw another one going the other way on I-75 about 3 weeks ago.

Too bad it's the truth, eh? Oh well. I'll keep trying to dispel the stereotypes...

................

I linked up some pix of a yellow C6 'vert the other day, but according to my logs only two or three people even took a peek!

I really want a blue C6 'vert. That would be the only one I could give up my C5 for. Until the Z0h-My comes out, at least.

I'm going to make a documentary about the imports in my area, and call it The Slow & The Complacent.
