Story time last week me and some buds were in my ws-6 trying to break in the spec 3.
I saw a hunny in a car next to us peepin the ride so i brought it to the attention of my buddy in the passenger street. he knew her so two seconds later i was on my buddys cell talking to her. She sounded to young so i made a smart *** comment(as usual) and was about to hang up when she said her boyfreind had a crx that would kill me. I told her she was confused. She then said that my car is probably in the 17's. She was seriose(sp).
By now we were sitting in the taco bell parking lot and met up with a few biker buds. Her boyfreind called back.
he wanted a race. I said he has one half hour to get to taco bell and bring a bill. While we all waited i decided it was time to launch my car for the first time with the new clutch with 366miles on the trip. she hooked hard and i was ready to take some money.
A total of 4 ricers pulled in about 25 min later. got out looking like tough guys.
They toned it down immediatly after seeing i had just as many people with me.
I said "lets go" and started my 425RWHP (not counting the 125 extra on juice) 17 sec
car. They all immediatly pussed out and said maybe in a couple of weeks "my turbo isnt running right". I said thats what i thought. and they left.
If i wasnt in such a good mood about my clutch that night i would have pushed the issue that they still owe me a bill; but **** it. I went out and raced the bikes instead.
Lost to my freinds rc51 by about 3 lengths and i wasnt even spaying due to the new clutch.
When people talk money they need to put it where there mouth is or expect a foot in its place.
Damn them fast and furioseseses wannabe's!

Oy vey. You do know that the story was turned around, don't you? When he is telling it, you were the one who pussed out. I'd personally start a nag campaign. Since your friend knows someone in that circle, it would be easy to take his money.
