Default 350z, no sweat

Pull up behind a 350z on the highway. My brother asks "What is that? An MR2." One look at the exhuast told me it was a 350z. I pull along side, and drop to 4th so he can hear me. He downshifts once, then again (?) and I take my cue and go to 3rd at about 70. By 90 I had a couple cars on him, and I gave him a thumbs up.

That's another new rice car I've been meaning to ice. The only left on my list is an RX8.

I've got to get some real kills around here. Not too much street racing action going on

Good kill. The only people i see driving 350Z's around here are late 20s, preppy looking dudes. I have had my car for like 6 months now, and noone ever wants to play. It sucks but at the same time, it keeps me out of trouble.

The 350z is kinda nice if you ask me. Needs more cojones though (same with the RX-8, slap a turbo on that thing already).

Nice kill.

On a side note: You race with your mom in the car? Hehe.

Never raced with her in the car. Definately brother.

She does like driving it though (even being an M6, and "really loud" as she says).

I race with my girlfriend all the time though, she loves it. I don't do anything stupid with her in the car anymore though. I have a 3rd person to think about now

Lots of 350Z's here in Austin and the dealerships are not doing their job. When they hand over the keys to the new owners they are neglecting to say "OK, this car is not really fast. Don't go out there an make an *** out of yourself."

A lot of these chuckle heads in them have no clue. It's a decent car and it was reviewed well by some tough auto journalists... but it's not "fast". I was driving home from work one day on Hwy 183 in my '02 procharged car and some fool in a 350Z starts riding my ***. I pull into the next lane and just keep it in 4th. I look him right in the eyes and then matt it. He hits it too of course. In FOURTH I just steadily pull away from him.

I slow back down to the legal range. He pulls up and I make the limp wrist motion at him and his car. Of course this infuriates him so the next break in traffic he does the predictable fly-by. What a tard.

They are WAY to expensive to be good cars for racing.

Excellent kills to the both of you.

Hmm. We have an abundance of FI 350s around here, and Im lucky enough to have raced several. They are not as crazy fast as you think. In fact, i have yet to beaten by one. I am tied with one particluar one, and theres a Vortech equipped one with cams and intake, making 424 rwhp, i know id go down to that one. But turbo untunned running 11.2? No offense to you, but id have to see it to belive it. Not to mention he'd have to have a highly revised suspension, tire hop on those is HORRID. My good friend (and barber lol) Jason has an '04 with the Greddy kit, and Greddy had to fly in two techs (jap spec guys as they call them, one speaks broken english, the other none what so) to get the car right with the world. It was supposed to be done yesterday, i haven't called Jason yet to see if they helped it any.

I'm gonna have to agree. They are not the best at all in the 1/4 (like most imports..) but they seem to trap pretty high around here (the FI) ones. Most of them run 12's but trap much higher than 12's. 11.2 is kinda high. Still nice kill
