Default Me Vs. 2003 Cobra (Factory Freak)

First off let me say I got the car together just in time for NOPI to pick on the ricers, and I won't know how it runs til this Sunday at the f-body shootout. It feels pretty strong, but its hard to say how it will do.

The Cobra dynod 405rwhp stock. It is a factory freak. It has the cats, but aftermarket exhaust, a pulley, a tune, and a few other little things. He claimed 470-480rwhp.

My car has no back seats, and no spare/jack.. and weighed in in the low 3300's. There were 2 races, but we won't count the first one as it was extraneous.

1st-2nd the cars were dead even.. 3rd has been a little notchy lately due to either my clutch or master cylinder (not sure which). So my skinny *** lil bro couldn't get into 3rd smoothly.. He missed 3rd very quickly, and had to granny shift it and 4th. The cobra managed to pull nearly 2 cars in this period. The cobra would pull either way, so I imagine it would have just been a little closer.

The car was on Et Streets, obviously from a stop I'd murder him.

Peace,
Josh

Thats what I said. Your guess is as good as mine. He has a dyno sheet, but I didn't even bother looking at it. I trust him pretty well.

Because there are none that make 405rwhp stock. Plain and simple. A dyno might read 405hp though.

I was there to witness this.

I also rode in the guys cobra.. and something was up.
It just pulled TOO hard. He also made the 480 rwhp with just a 2.93 pulley. Not even the 2.8.

hidden ny-trous

480rwhp? No way unless the blower is ported and he has a bunch of bolt ons...and a 2.76 or a 2.80 pulley.
