Default ran a SC bullit mustang

ok so i went down to houston this past weekend.. this girl Page's Bf has been wanting to run for a while.. figured it would be a good run and it was.

he's got a built bottom end and vortech SC

Run1
line up at 60.. 3 honks.. we're off.. instantly start pulling.. top of 4th i'd say it was 3 or 4 cars on him

Run2
We line up again.. 60 3 honks.. this time i had to change lanes cause of a car ahead of me.. i remained about a car ahead through 4th.

pretty close runs.. very nice stang.

Its always nice to get a good race! What kind of numbers is he putting down? I would think with a built motor he should be 450rwhp+? I've seen 3 mostly stock gts with 8-9lbs barely crack 400.

he said its putting down 366rwhp.. which i thought was kinda weak for a built bottom end but he's still on stock pulley/boost.. i'm sure when he ups it it will get over 400rwhp

nice kill

I don't think he was a very good driver to lose by 4 cars with only 6 hp less to the wheels. Wonder what his torque numbers are.

cause it was on the highway.. i consider a 20punch on the highway russian roulette that someone wouldn't be paying attention going 80 and *wam*

i found out the bullit doesn't have headers yet.. so that explains the 366 #

Insom's car weighs alot less than a Bullitt stang. Less weight + More HP = A *** whopping

he said his bullit weighs 3400 lbs and he had a passenger (his gf)

it was just me in my car. should of brought a camera man to get it on tape.

i need to hire a midget to shift.. i'll just yell 'shift!' at redline.. cheaper then a T-350 swap lol

i'm not sure what he was boosting but i know he hasn't upped the boost yet, and doesn't have headers yet. it runs strong.

i don't know what a SQ is

well what is sad is some are agree with him that the AC cost him, where the others state that the AC automaticly shuts off at WOT. Yea it blows cold for a little bit just because there is still some Cold AC left in the Vents. I know Kirk(insom) he never lies about a race and always owns up when he gets killed, this dude is lying out his *** about even how much he kept up with insom.

haha thanks Darren.. most people that know me.. know i'm honest about how any race i post

i was even nicer then he was about the first race.. i said i put 3-4 on him.. he admits it was more like 4-5! lol.. the second run.. i had to change lanes and i'm being nice saying i was STILL at least a car length up.

i told his gf that over the phone.. later i hear.. no you only pulled 1/2 length the second time.. then 'you didn't pull me you got the jump'. ok

I was thinking about signing up on that board and quoting his statement:
"buy a mustang, buy a supercharger" and adding..
and still get whooped by a LS1 w/ a $100 cam..
