You can beat them from a roll right now with the mods you have. I raced my friend's modded 04 and we were dead even up to 120. He's pushing 425 and Iv'e got 385, but I have some weight reduction.

All the bolt ons and a ported blower will put one right around the 500-510rwhp mark.

Sure and we can take two of his valves per cylinder away, and three of his cams

Unit : You running 275s or 315 DRs? I need to get some cause i cant even get traction in 4th anymore. People keep telling me 315s are a waste because the contact patch is the same, but I think I can just run a lower tire pressure right?

hey guy's, It's been a while since I've posted here since I joined the darkside a few month's ago, but I ran a Z06 last night with Cartek heads and cam package with bolt on's of course. The outcome was pretty much dead even until we got to higher speeds 120+ and then the vette would start to slowly creep ahead of me. I beleive this was due to a combination of weight(my cobra is a vert and I weigh about 240) and aerodynamics. His gearing could also have some effect as well as he had 4.10's and mine is still stock.

It will be June before the Kenne Bell blower goes on it though.
I can wait for an extra 300 rwhp. I am probably going to get a clutch, injectors, and a shifter when I get the blower. Might as well jump in with both feet.

Might as well jump in with both feet.If you are going to race and run close to 600 rwhp then you will need a clutch. I have one friend that got one of the first KB's that came out and his clutch wouldn't hold up. My stock clutch will slip in sixth at WOT pulls on the interstate with 600 rwhp. I know when I get it on the track next spring with ET Streets it aint going to hold. I just installed a KB on another friends 03 and we just put a DF Centerforce in it. I think I will put the same clutch in before spring.
