I got to race my first SRT4 this weekend. He was a pretty cool guy.

We raced twice and they were both pretty close races. I hit the rev limiter in the first race . Second race I did ok.

His mods are stage1, AGP WGA, Psi Fi FMIC, MSD coilpack/wires, P&P head, oversized valves, N/A 2.0 liter cams, Crane springs, Maxx Fab 02 housing, BDJ's exhaust, JMB hardpipes w/Greddy Type S, ES motor mount inserts, K&N short ram and Eibach springs.

My mods are CAI and a MGW shifter (that I am not happy with).

LOL those little things are quick... I ran one at the track one time, got out by about 2 cars on him. But by the 1/8th mile he had almost 10mph more then me, and passed me like I was dragging a piano.

The guy wasn't a dick or cocky. He has done just about everything he can do to his car except a larger turbo.

I was too busy watching him and not the tach. I didn't make that mistake the second time.

I called MGW and told them about the shifter and he is willing to work with me. I am probably going to send it back and get them to send me another to see if that makes a difference. Then I will try a different trans fuild. If that doesn't do it I will send it back and get something else.

 

Just watched it again, Brandon, your car is superstealth!

Oh, and don't mind my "issues" with SRT4's, I have a history with them, as you know.

Hope you get the shifter resolved. That KB setup you're gonna get will be a monster.

Wow, all those mods and he still couldnt beat you. Good race man.

 

I think that is the more important things. Heads, cams and all the bolt-ons and couldn't take a basically stock cobra

 

He "should" be trapping 110mph+. From my experiance I always pull on a stock Cobra than they would eventually catch up in my 4th and pass me. I dont have no where near all the mods he has.

What's a "Stock Cobra"?? I don't think they really exist.

Even those have probably pulley, intake, chip, exhaust.....
