If I had all that stuff and got pulled by a stock cobra, I'd drive it off the first bridge I came across then found a new hobby, like golf.

And it also seems like just about all of the cobra owners think there **** is the fastest thing on the road. NOT THE CASE, as you would put it. Equally driven, yes, the cobra (coupe) is faster. But, who in this country or world keeps their car stock.

 

I agree 100%... I think my car is fast but not the fastest by far, it is definately the fastest car I have ever owned. I appreciate both cars and both cars are fast... not into the car maker wars, if your fast your fast if not don't pretend.... Both cars are due respect.

guy in the cobra needs to learn that when you start a race at 50mph you should be in 2nd, wind it out, then hit 3rd wind that out til 102, then go to fourth. Either way, you beat him!

On a side note, i have raced slightly modded WS6's and all i had was a K&N on the highway, and ive always pulled away, some harder than others, but always been the victor! I have also lost to camaros though too......BUT they were spraying

You could say samething about 03/04 Cobra owners, just go visit svtperformance if you aren't a member. I have never seen so many arrogant car owners in my life (well, next to Viper owners) and most of them do believe they have the fastest cars on the road.

He guys Im just back with an update. I raced him about 4 times again yesterday. At first he was in 5th gear, then I told him to get into 3rd and then he pulled on me.

Not true. I agree there are some snot nosed 03 owners on that site and it has gotten a little hard to read some of the garbage posted there. The 03/04 Cobra has attracted a lot of people that are not your typical Cobra owners of the past. I have owned 99, 01 and 03 Cobras. The overwhelming majority of pre-01 Cobra owners are cool, mature dudes with respect for any domestic muscle. The 03 Cobra has changed all that. It has attracted people that wanted the "fastest" thing they could afford. They didn't buy an 03 Cobra because they were Cobra fans, Ford fans or Mustang fans. These same people would have just as easily have bought a 350Z if it had 400 HP. But, I wouldn't say most are arrogant and that there is no more crowing on that board than any other board. Anyone that races knows no matter how fast you think you are, more than likely you aint even close to being the fastest.

From a dig it takes a little bit of skill but the real reason they lose is most people can not drive no matter what they are driving.

What does this statement mean. "Most"? Do you mean that the Cobras that come off the assembly line are that inconsistent. You mean some lucky owner gets a sleeper? Aint no such thing even an LS1. They all dyno within plus/minus 10 rwhp same model no matter if it's a Ford or a Chevy. Evan Smith with MM&FF magazine could run 99 out of 100 03/04 Cobras to the same times. A few months ago that magazine tested an 03 Cobra vert against a Mach 1 and an 04 GT coupe. He ran a 12.4 in the bonestock vert. When you say most you should say "most drivers".

 

I didnt race a vert 03 cobra but it was stock and i lost to it by a half a car, those are runners

 

different circumanstances can do anything guys and that really could happen and to be honest with you guys these terminators are very weak to me . i tried with alot of these with my 3.42 , hp tuners and free mods you can kill them like a pinuts and dont forget guys these terminators has a factory forceinduction , even with a stock ls1 and a long distance pull , also you can kill them. And honestly stock V.S stock the cobra pulls the camaro in a very short distance (1 to 3 cars) and decreases in long distances . plzz understand and compare :the diff ratio, forceinduction , that means everything must go good for the cobra? but looks like not ,HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
