lost to a e55 yesterday

raced a silver e55 with black rims out of a toll booth on the garden state parkway yesterday. he was so much faster then me that he let me pull ahead until we were doin about 90, then fly past me. that would be my 4th loss. just makes me want forced induction even more, especially considering the only cars i ever lost to were forced induced.

1st loss- Yamaha R1 (blew past the cops doing about 140 on the NYS Thruway, the yamaha ran and the sop chased after him. Needless to say, the cop was unsuccessful)
2nd loss - Modified Toyota Supra (ironically, it was yellow and the driver looked like Vin Diesel)
3rd loss - Modified Nissan 300zx (it was close, but he won by about a car length)
4th loss - Mercedes E55

damn.. could always get some spray, and a few boltons wouldn't hurt..

those $$$$ benz's are fast, seen a couple vids with a few of em raping past modded 03 cobras

Looks like your tints and shift ball ain't gonna cut it.

Time to get some power making mods on that list.

A cam and clutch will do wonders for your car.

Un-modded our cars were fast a couple years ago.
We need to mod now to stay on the upper part of the food chain

They're 20-30K more than the standard E class for a reason. A cam and some nitrous would make it quite a bit more interesting next time.

Yes, those things are pretty fast for a fat 4dr.

Last summer I got my doors blown off by one on the highway and from a stoplight. I would love to have one of those.

The E55 is a super nice car too,but pricy. The E55 AMG though, which it probably was, is insane. It beat the new M5 in a Motor Trend test if I remember right. STS or Procharger would help a lot. Good Luck next time. (BTW, the R1's are crazy fast. Trust me, I know from experience)
