Was posted in the Local section.. sorry if some of the peoples names don't make sense to the non atlantians.


So I head up to a local hangout spot on the southside... I get there and I am immediately swarmed by 20 guys all talking **** about mustangs and how they are superior over an SS. Eventually.. after we wade through 30 minutes of BS trying to set up a race of my car vs an 04 Cobra its on. 100 bucks. Cobra is susposibly stock pulley.... I never got a mod list out of anyone but I know it had full exhaust.. and a few other little tidbits.. I am guessing throttle body and everything else.... probaly 410 - 420 at the rear.

Anyway we get to the spot... he tries to take off when the flag man waves his hands. Cool and all, I just sit. He comes back, we do it again, he still jumps the gun a bit but this time I give chase. All through first my nittos spin like crazy, I hook. Second gear I pull closer, he had about 1 1/2 car through first.. at the end of second he had about half a car.. and at the top of third I had passed him, this is when he stomps his brakes.

I go back to the spot and all the msutang guys are saying how he beat me to their "finish" line and all this other BS.. apparently their finish line was before I ended third gear.. so really less then an 1/8th mile. So lets get this straight, cobra basically had the hit.. I pulled back and passed him by the time I hit fourth gear... yet all of them claim he won to their finish line. In the end I had to pay up the 100 or get my *** kicked by 40 guys that had now showed up to watch the race... because I had no one with me cept the GF, her little brother.. craig and a guy named Jacob.

Basically, **** the local mustang crew and No Limit motorsports, they can suck a ******* ****. I beat the car in the 1/4, hell I beat the car in the 1/8th and they are some shady mother *******. I am



not going to say any names but Strickland, **** you and your Cobra... Keith **** you and your rear end breaking , wrecking going down the track ***, and **** the rest of the crew.
In the end I guess its my fault for being dumb enough to bet some shady bitches, but I was raping the Cobra, ahh.. oh well. Screw it.

Same thing happened to Josh last year against Keiths mustang.. I guess thats just how it goes down with that crew, I will be smarter next time.

 

that's bs. All the mustang owners around here (Portland, OR) are cocky ********* with skyhigh ego's who put my car down even after i compliment theirs. Guess it all depends on where you live. WELCOME TO THE CLUB i guess

40, thats not too hard!!!! LOL J/K That is BS what happened to you. If you ever get in that situation again and u have no choice but to fight, than try to take out the leader. It might disrupt the gang mentallity and break up the group. And theirs always good old pepper spray!!!!

 

In all reality man, you did the right thing. I have been in that position myself. I fought competitively and trained with K1 guys for a few years. I still ended up with a torn pec that required surgery and rehab and almost 2 years later Im still not as strong as I was. The only way to fight in a situation like that is to break bones as quickly and brutally as possible and hope no one else there really knows how to fight. Trust me man, the $100 bucks isnt worth it

well that sucks ***, but in that situation you did the best thing. never race for money unless you have your crew with you and always find the start and finish spot before the race ever happens. when we race we let a man that isnt betting to call the race and he always has alot of people standing with him in case he's blind.

 

Man that had to bite. 40 against one is harsh. And Greentahoe had a good point. Most don't fight unless it's in there favor. It's truely a shame what happened man. When I get back to the states from Iraq, I will rally the troops we shall come down and show the stangs what we are capable of!!

next time setup a race with him and 40 of your friends, to a real finish line, and make it 200$ so you can win your money back
