Well, I havent ran someone in a while until last night. This was the same guy I ran a while back and beat him with just an exhaust and mbc.

So, I was cruising when I see him try and run a new GT. I also try but they all downshifted to 1st and took off before I even got a chance but I still punched it. So, the guy in the GTO slows down and says in a cocky matter, "Do you remember me when you beat me huh huh huih huh???"

So, I tell him lets take it to the freeway and he ignorantly gives me a big ol' smile and says OK!. I knew he had something new and so did I.

We hit the freeway and I shift to 2nd at 45mph. I tell him to go on 3rd honk. I honk and I always let the other driver get the jump when I am honking. So, we are off. I hit 3rd right away and put a good car on him. Hit 4th and I change into his lane. Hit 5th(~145mph) and I have about 2 cars on him. I slow down and roll my window down and asked him what happened. He just gave me a weak *** thumbs up and waved me off and i just smiled and said its just a Neon.
I also had two 200 pounders with me
If any of you Michiganders might know him...its a red GTO with black rims.

 

If im going to be cocky, im at least going to know what the other guy has.

Neon + 200lbs still = half the weight of a GTO. Nice kill though he had that coming.

Sorry dude, but I can't stand people who do that .... you're just looking for an accident changing into his lane when you're only a car ahead of him. If you're buslengths I could understand, but a car length = trouble. If you blow out a tire or he hits the juice or something ... you're getting reamed in the ***.

I wasnt unbelievably close. I saw both of his head lights in my rearview mirror and I assume that is a car length away. When I say car length I dont mean his front bumper to my rear. I mean that there is a cars worth or more of room between his front bumper and my rear bumper. Im not that dumb now.

there could of been 4 car legnths of room between you, if you had to suddenly stopped for whatever reason, it's up the *** your gonna get.

 

But I didnt have to. There was tons of room of open space. Its not like I made an unbelievable lane change to avoid traffic and then back into another lane to avoid someone else. It was a bit ricerish to switch to his lane but I felt that he needed that for his almighty ego.

 

With the new job I just got, I think I may be able to afford that G5X3 cam and LS6 heads this summer afteralll... would be fun to meet up on 696

 

Haha okay that's fine .... Just I've personally seen it happen before, and was an awefully silly reason for a car to be totalled. (guy swerves to change lane in excess of 100mph with only a car or two ahead of the other guy ... hits a pot-hole and blows out a tire, goes swearving out of control and gets nailed by the guy he just cut off). I'd love to see the explination he gave the insurance company and police for that one...

 

This is the first time I have actually changed into the other persons lane when racing. I just felt it was necessary.....dumb but from the being drag racing is dumb but its something I really cant help. Its my only drug.

 

Keepin the car huh? I'd be more than happy to meet up. Make sure you at least trap about 120mph

Also, there is a "Rumor" of an Srt that is trapping in the 130+mph range around here so keep an eye out.

 

Warren....hmm...I heard "696" mentioned. I know where that is. So obviously you're on the other side of the state. My car is over there right now. Hopefully I'll get it back in a few weeks.

How much nitrous do you plan on running in the future? Power estimate? I'd really like to see one of those.....................go down.
