Hey buddy,

I will take a 450rwhp NA car any day against a 500rwhp turbo car on the strip.

There's no way you can say that, for all you know it's a car with twins that spools early as hell. In that case, you're beat. What happens if it's a twin-turbo LS1 that puts down 500 peak rwhp?

I'll chime in here. My 450+ RWHP FI motor gets 450+ ft. lbs. of tq @ 2K RPM and the tq line is table top flat to redline. Does a 450+ RWHP N/A motor do that?

I don't know yet, the last time I went out it was 38* and I spun through the first three gears for a 12.3 with a 1.98 60'. I've still got a few bugs in tha car that I hope to iron out by summer. I'm hoping for mid 11's. If I had slicks I'd expect 10.90's or so.

No.. I'm saying I don't know and don't care if an LS1 has 6 cylinders, or 8 cylinders... it doesn't matter to me... because they are both slow (was talking in stock form, not modified....sorry for not clarifying it in writing).

Comments like this are completely unnecessary. Correcting someone is one thing... doing it like this is what is stupid.

Thanks for your advice. I have been a member for about a year. I just don't post much. I already learned some things, and I'm sure I'll pick up more. I don't care about "bashing," I care about learning. And I readily admit to mistakes (as I did in my previous post). I don't think anyone makes progress when they essentially call people "stupid," etc. We're all here to learn.

if you love the grunt the ls1 has right off throttle you won't like a supras much
how quickly a bpu jumps from 70 to 140 though is scary for a car with only a grand or so in it.
