Well if you ever want to try an LS1 Z28 in the 1/4 mile then let me know. Also if you think Nineballs car is fast look around the board for a little bit. His is fast but that race weight is where his cars downside is. That and its a M6 but we wont get into that. But check out some LS1s with internal modifications and weight reduction.

Hey, compliments to you not coming in here with attitude but instead getting some in return. Understand the battle here...AMERICAN MUSCLE vs. rice. Hard place to make friends when theres a disconnect that reaches the heart.
Congrats on the speedy gonzalis thing you got goin' on, I for one hate Hondas, but respect what you have goin' on and certainly we all share in the desire for speed and competition. I nearly **** when I saw one of those "things" destroy a stock mustang gt a few weeks ago. Had no idea your screamin weedwackers actually can move out!
I , for one, enjoy the company and bantering you can bring .
Congrats, thats one way to get a quick lil' ride on a budget. Tell the cashiers at Pep boys we all say Hi!
Please find me and race me sometime. If I win, you buy me a bacon wrap filet, if you win and I didn't commit suicide, I'll splurge on some shrimp fried rice.
Regards,
Jay- 30th Anniv. TA WS-6 Conv.

only comments from me...........it runs 13.0 but has never been to the track?

c'mon.........troll

I've been in the street racing scene for 22 years, and I have seen a few fast imports (about 2% of all fast cars. However none of the truly fast imports claim how fast they are without ever having been to a track.

btw, my car is the slowest car I've ever owned (as it's pure stock with predator tuning) and I went 13.0 at 104 on nittos........god I hope I can start making this one fast soon! (Oh yeah, I've actually been to the track)

besides my WS6 I also have (well HAD..i just sold it) an eclipse GSX (awd 5 speed, had about 230 horses) and they are pretty light, my WS6 can easily beat it..of course it takes me off the line but by 3rd i'm well past it so I don't trust the validity of this post.

No Pep Boys stuff

I actually ran at the track 2 weeks ago and got a "time" its not a good time. They were having competitions so I only got 2 runs. Before I had Cams and Valvetrain and Ecu I had a 2.151 60'

This run I Messed on on the 60',Thats why I think I have a 13.0 in me,This slip means nothing and is NOT what my car runs,Its what I ran when messing up.

60'-2.509
330'-6.141
1/8-9.051
Mph-87.16
1000-11.463
1/4-13.538
Mph-109.93

Ill take a pic of the time slip,I just tried and the flash wouldnt let the print show up,Ill take a pic after work when its light out.

That acually a damn good MPH. You could take most near stock LS1s from a roll. From a dig you are in trouble.

Back when my car was stock (in Alaska) a civic used to always give me ****. There fast, I will give kudos where applicable. I like the fact your car is not all crapped out with rice. Be very careful one day you will roll up next to a LS1 that has a few mods and they will leave you in dust. But until then keep on having fun with what you got, if its what you like go for it.

Ok, let me get this straight:

This guy's Honda makes roughly 205 FLYWHEEL horsepower, weighs a little over 2,000 lbs, and supposedly traps @ 109mph while not running properly.

But how is it that the newer Civic SI's with CAI and fart-cannon exhaust that way about 2,750 lbs from the factory making about 175 FLYWHEEL horsepower(with the bolt-ons) can only trap in the mid 80's?!

So with about 30 more flywheel horsepower and "maybe" 750 less pounds this guy is trapping a good 25mph more in the full 1/4 than bolt-on Civic SI's???

I'd actually believe it if it made sense but this dude's #'s just don't add up like 99.9% of the ricers out there. This crap is getting so old.

People frequently look at power-to-weight ratios - 200hp/2000lbs is about 1 hp per every 10 lbs. So is 350 hp/3500lbs (oops - that's what a stock F-body is). 175hp /2750 lbs is about 1 hp per every 15.5 lbs - a huge difference. Also, though the VTEC engines tend to be torqueless wonders, they buzz high enough to take effective advantage of gearing, which multiplies the torque to useable levels.

Where 200 hp/2000 lbs gets you killed is when you add extra weight (like a passenger). That vehicle will slow down with a passenger's added weight much more quickly than an f-body would.

MY motor has no torque on paper. You have to look into the fact the my torque is pulling a very little 2000lb car.So if I am now putting out 135 lbs of torque, thats alot.

I can accelerate at a good clip in 5th at quarter throttle up hills etc and my car is real silent.
The reason you always hear ricers with that "ricer" sound is because ,they have no power and they have to push their engine to try and go fast.

Since when is 135 ft-lbs of torque a lot? 450ft-lbs is a lot.

Wow! You trap 109, that's pretty impressive. I have a 92 Civic CX that weighs less than 2200 w/ me in it w/ a B18B, GSR tranny, fully built head, all the bolt-ons and a 150 shot. My best pass so far has been 12.6 @ 107.

Gezzzzus!!! You guys hear about 1 F-bod being beat and its like someone stuck a can of fireworks up your asses! Get over it. All this guy is doing is telling his story and being polite about it too, while half you guys are acting like 10 year olds.

VTECH(Dan), I have to congratulate you on your more polished troll skills. They are still a little rough around the edges. You need to tightem up your BS a little and then you might get something going. This dude used to be on the Corvetteforum stirring it up. His BS is getting a little smoother though. He is learning how to do the numbers to make them look credible.....almost.
